Since our inception our church has been a missions minded ministry. One of our first pastors, Lee Whaley, left Jacksonville to go to the mission field in Alaska. Since then many people have left our church to serve on the mission field around the world. Barry Simpson, the former Director of Development of Free Will Baptist International Missions, is a product of our church outreach. Kim Zegelien, a current church member, has served as a missionary in both Africa and Germany. Kim's niece, Lauren Strickland Riggs and her husband, are current missionaries to Spain. We have many people serving in full time church service somewhere in the world.
We support missions through our annual church budget as well as through Faith Promise giving on a monthly basis. Our annual Missions Conference features missionaries from around the globe.

Step 1 Acknowledge that you have sinned. "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one." Romans 3:10
Step 2 Realize there is a penalty for your sin. "For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23a
Step 3 Acknowledge that Christ paid the penalty of sin for you. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
Step 4 Acknowledge that Christ wants to give you the free gift of eternal life in Heaven. "But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b
Step 5 Believe in Christ and ask Him to be your personal Savior and Lord of your life. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Roman 10:13
As you think on these truths, will you right now ask Christ to come into your heart and life? Pray to God, asking Him to forgive you of your sin and save you. Please contact us if we can help you in any way.
